Black Box Exchange is a gift exchange for theatre, opera, and ballet canons. Those participating must create either a story of at least 1,000 words, or a nice sketch that is not on lined paper, and will receive a 1,000 word story or non-lined paper sketch.

I would suggest checking character/relationship canonicals when you're filling out your request, though I am sure your author will be able to tag them upon posting.
I made the decision to approve a couple of RPF fandoms, because in my opinion it does feel related - where else are we easily going to find people willing to write ttB RPF?! - and honestly I just want us to be able to dabble on this side of fandom as much as we can.

Based on some discussion prior to the last round, some of you couldn't commit to an assigned exchange at that time for various reasons. At this midpoint, we'll be doing a prompt fest hosted on AO3 instead. Submit prompts, more than one person will be able to claim a prompt, and it'll be suggested* to take no longer to complete and post your fic than the start of the next round (early June!). There will be absolutely no penalty for claiming and not completing a fic. We're here to have fun and create content for these tiny fandoms. Any content created for these small fandoms is better than the numbers we had before!

It appears that the character of Gleb Vaganov doesn't exist in the Anastasia 1997 film, and that the character named Vlad Popov in the musical has a different name in the film. Any clarification on which versions you intended would be helpful or by 10am EST tomorrow I'll add all Gleb for Broadway and both versions of Vlad disambiguated.

Please clarify what medium (theatre/musical/opera/ballet) in the title of your thread and include the title of the work, but otherwise feel free to explain what it is you enjoy about the canon and why everyone else should enjoy it too! If it's a specific production, sometimes it is difficult to get our hands on those things, but maybe we can help each other out - otherwise, please give a link or nudge to where people can find it.
Things to include might be what kind of plot elements or ships might intrigue people, or any pictures or depictions you'd like to tempt people with.
